We are planning to put together a number of calendars which will be available for the 15th National Morris Minor Rally. The calendars will be submitted for the National Print Awards and printed by students at the Sydney Institute of TAFE. This initiative was first attempted in 2008 and students were awarded a bronze medal for their efforts in the State finals.

It is envisaged that there will be two types of calendars.

One type will be for each state and/or territory or combination of states and/or territories and have a montage of various types of Morris Minors that have been submitted. The size will be A3 with the tear off date pad for each month attached. These calendars will be available at a cost of $5.00 each which includes postage and handling.

The other type will be a “best of” calendar from each club attending the National Rally. Each club will submit a file with a vehicle or number of vehicles that they consider to be the best in their club. The format of the calendar will A4 folded size folding out to A3 with wire binding. These calendars will be available at a cost of $5.00 each which includes postage and handling.

Photographs must to be submitted by the due date as there are deadline to be met. Failure to submit photographs when required will result in your photographs not being included in the calendar.

Personnel at the Sydney Institute of TAFE - Printing Machining will be totally responsible for the design and selecting the photographs to go into the calendars. Sydney Institute of TAFE - Printing Machining will own the copyright for the design of each of the calendars.

The photographs must meet the following criterion:

• Format: jpeg (jpg)
• Output: CD will be a must considering the number of photographs and the file sizes. Please write the club’s name on the CD and have separate files for both types of calendars. Send CD and order form to:

• Camera type: Digital with no less then 10 megapixel. Any less the photographs when enlarged become pixelised and are not of a suitable quality.
• The vehicles ideally should be taken with minimum sunlight so as to reduce shadows and have a background that is either historical or well known for the area in which you live.
• Date for submission: No later than the end of May 2010. Any photographs submitted after the due date will not be accepted as there are tight deadlines to be met.
